@cn Indeed it was, in the 16th century or something. When a lot more of the UK was forest and, yes, I guess this one was new. It is nice. Shame about the tourists. Bike wobblers going 3mph, people walking along the road when there’s a perfectly good pavement on the other side…

@cn Yup. I think they assume they are on quiet country roads. What they don’t realise is that they are actually what pass for main roads in Dorset/Hants!
