@vanessa Neat! We ended up with part of a WWI-era canteen/mess kit; absolutely no idea about the provenance.
@smokey Amazing what turns up. Previously found an early 20th century mechanical pedometer! Took a while to figure out why I couldn’t wind it, then noticed the dial only went to 10.
@vanessa Haha! When I came across an old manual pedometer, it was still in its box so I knew what I had found 🙂
