I think this is the closest I have been to puffins – so far! Taken at the RSPB reserve, Bempton Cliffs, Yorkshire.

Got the cutest little house guest until Friday. She’s really rather sweet.
Had a lovely breakfast at a nearby country park: Eggs Royale, basically Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon instead of ham. Then a short walk around the lake, to alleviate some of the food guilt.
Found a WW1 compass amongst my Dad’s things. Have to assume it may have belonged to his Grandfather, or an uncle, not really sure.
Hoping to do a bit more testing on various bloggy things over the long Easter weekend.
Pleased to see a new RSPB reserve is going to be established in my local area.
