Finished reading The Benedict Option, by Rod Dreher.
Kind: Notes
Another lovely Autumn walk in the park. Plenty of fungi around at the moment.
This morning I was very lucky to see the only (known) albatross in the northern hemisphere. Quite the handsome bird is Albert!
Also saw the usual crop of puffins, gannets and razorbills.
A lovely stroll through the Yorkshire Arboretum yesterday. Autumn colours starting to do their thing.
Another morning walk along the beach. Some very nice clouds today.

Big skies out in the New Forest this afternoon. Glorious. Time spent with good friends: priceless.

Got some new watercolour brushes today, so naturally felt I should try them out.

Very overcast for today’s walk. Fairly quiet as a result, though we did meet some other dogs, but not many. Poppy was granted some off-lead time and was very good.
All the foliage us looking nice and green, after a few days of rain. Today’s walk was along the “main road” (I live in one of the few counties in the UK which don’t have a motorway, though we do have some dual carriageways).
Then along a track
And back towards civilisation.
Another early morning walk. Reversed the route today, for variety, and to get to the park before many other people did.
