Finally some cosmos seeds I chucked on the flower bed a few months ago have come good and produced a flower. I’d almost given up hope.
@vanessa my source of pink floral display has been razed, because it had a fungal growth on much of its bark, and was a climbing frame for rampaging passion flowers…
@cn Ah, these things do happen. I’ve been lucky this summer, got some plants from a friend, chucked a load of seeds in & most flourished, despite the heat. Once things die back I’ll see how the perennials are doing – got Viburnum in there. Planted some bulbs recently, plenty more to do yet though.
