@JohnPhilpin I believe so… And I guess I would also pick them over the Stones. I don’t get the cult status of either group though. That said, The Beatles certainly marked a shift in musical direction in their day. I play a lot of Beatles songs and the writing is outstanding, with some truly lovely harmonies.
