Rather pleased to have my Macbook Air, even more so as I delve into the power of Alfred. When you have a fairly long name, which is in most of your email addresses, snippets just makes me smile. “Enter email address” no longer results in a sigh and (not always) silent curse.

Went to my monthly craft group this evening and we had a talk on Japanese embroidery (Nihon Shishu). A lady in my village teaches it. I am so tempted to learn, just not sure when I would have the time! I love the style and the skill is amazing.

Interestingly (perhaps), when I was tinkering earlier, I read through some of the functions.php for my theme (SemPress) and there seemed to be code in there to add a post number as a title to a post that didn’t have a one. Hmm…

Well, I may have done it – this is the first post from a child theme… There’s only one way to see how horribly wrong it may have gone!

There’s room for some more stickers on here…

OK, let’s see if adding the bit of code in the correct file works for me. Mind you, I have been a bit thick – it wasn’t even in the “wrong” place any more, as there had been an update to WordPress, which removed it. Doh!!

Backup solution set up on this WordPress blog thingy now. Just in case… For other blogs I keep copies of the posts, as I write them externally before posting. Not this one.

Another trinket from my Dad’s collection. I reckon I’ll keep this.
