Lovely peaceful walk this morning, accompanied by the sound of a cuckoo.
Oh good grief. Just had to evict a huuuuuge spider from the bedroom. Luckily it fit in the spider vac tube – just. Still, progress; time was I would have left the house and gone to sleep at my parents’ place. Can’t do that now; at least I feel I have to be brave for the puppy!
The best kind of company.
A very quiet walk today. A stiff breeze & cooler weather seems to have driven people away.
Hiding in the copse this morning, avoiding the sun, plus my favourite rose in my garden.

I look at this bundle off fluff and can’t believe how lucky I am to have her in my life, particularly at the moment, when she’s all I’ve got!
All the foliage us looking nice and green, after a few days of rain. Today’s walk was along the “main road” (I live in one of the few counties in the UK which don’t have a motorway, though we do have some dual carriageways).
Then along a track
And back towards civilisation.
Another early morning walk. Reversed the route today, for variety, and to get to the park before many other people did.
A frosty start to today’s walk, but the sun was nice and bright.
