Lovely walk on the Heath this morning. Gorgeous colours. Tinged by sadness as I was on my way to put flowers down to commemorate the 7th anniversary of losing my Mum.

When you see some butterflies and the only camera to hand is your old Fuji Bridge zoom. Still capable of taking great photos…
Finished reading A Walk in the Woods, by Bill Bryson.
New rose (yes another one). I wasn’t going to, but such a lovely colour and the most splendid fragrance. Goes by the name of “Absolutely fabulous”.
Big skies and reflections on today’s walk.
A new rose in the garden this year. It smells divine. It’s called “Chandos Beauty” and I picked it because my Grandad used to live in Chandos Avenue.
More sunshine and showers, but some beautiful plants this afternoon,
Hailstones yesterday; quite a difference today!
Had some glorious Spring weather in the early part of this week.
Another day, another (freezing cold) walk along miles of sandy beach.
