Working my way through my Jethro Tull playlist. It’s 14 hours long, so I’ll be finished working well before it stops. Feels like a Tull kind of day. I know, wot no metal?!

I chucked some seeds on the soil when the new front bed was planted and now things have grown. Lovely – from some packets of wildflower seed, I think, but I’m not sure what.

Heading over to the New Forest today, for lunch with a friend. Ironically, it’s not new, and it isn’t exactly a forest, either. That’s England for you.

3hrs 52 mins – the amount of sleep my Fitbit logged for me last night. Feels like it, too. I’m really hoping I do better tonight; insomnia is so very demoralising

The end of an era. The sale of my late parents’ property has just gone through. A relief, but also very sad. Feeling a little melancholic this afternoon.

Another Friday, another weather “warning” of thunderstorms, another failure of said thunderstorms to materialise. Third time lucky, I thought, but no. 😒

OK, so perhaps picking today to configure Arq5 backups to Amazon Drive for the Macbook was not the best decision ever. Reminder set to try again after Prime Day has finished across the world…

So hot – for a country without aircon. Played for a wedding today & the church was so sweltering that the vicar passed out part way through the ceremony. Trooper that he is, he managed to resume after a while & get the marriage completed – phew!
